The FA Series is Mitsubishi Electric's newest wire EDM machine that supplies customers the optimum solution by incorporating the world's fastest technologies. This machine series sets new standards that thoroughly pursue the goal of "Fast, Easy, and Reliable" operation. It also showcases Mitsubishi's continuous dedication to high precision. The FA-P wire EDM machines combine high- accuracy, highspeed finishing, and automated cutting for fine detail. Advanced Friction Control (AFC) suppresses disturbances after fast feed and direction reversal, which provides high positioning and detailed accuracy. Total processing machine speed, roughing, and skimming time have been decreased with the FA-P series. A workpiece requiring a 6 microinch Ra finish now can be produced in 30 percent less time. When a 15 microinch Ra finish is required, only three cuts are needed. AE3-HS power supply helps increase carbide punch and die life by eliminating deterioration and reducing the depletion of the carbide binder.
